Lancaster vs Jamestown
The Legends are playing this Friday Night when they welcome in the Jamestown Red Raiders to Foyle-Kling Field. Lancaster beat the Hutch Tech Engineers last week at home by a score of 40-0. Jamestown faced the Niagara Falls Wolverines and would go on to win 48-32.
Last Time Out
Lancaster started the playoffs by playing the Hutch Tech Engineers at Foyle-Kling Field last week. The Legends kicked off to Hutch Tech who started at the 20 yard line.
The Legends defense would stop the offense and force the visiting team to punt the ball away.
Lancaster started the drive at their own 49. They would earn a 1st down on the very first play and they were off and running. Just a few plays later at the 1 yard line, the Legends scored to go up 7-0.
Hutch Tech would be forced to punt on their next possession and it was partially blocked. The ball went up in the air and landed just yards away from the line of scrimmage. A Lancaster player hauled in the ball and took it to the 6 yard line. The next play the Legends scored making it 13-0, a 2 point attempt failed.
The Engineers would move the ball on their next drive and get to the 43 before facing 4th down. They ran a play to the right and were stopped by the defense. The ball would then be turned over to Lancaster.
The Legends offense was able to proceed down the field and were within the 10 yard line. They ran the ball but a fumble would get picked up by the Engineers and they started the next drive at their own 10 yard line. Hutch Tech would have to punt back as the Lancaster defense stopped the Engineers from advancing the ball. The drive for Lancaster ended with another touchdown bringing the score to 20-0.
The Engineers would get the ball after the kickoff and attempt a pass down the field but was intercepted by the Legends. This time with the ball ended with a field goal attempt that would be just wide left.
Hutch Tech came out with another pass after the ball would be turned over to them. It would be intercepted again by the Legends but this time it was run back all the way to the endzone for a touchdown, 27-0.
Lancaster started with the ball in the 2nd half at the 18 yard line. They moved to midfield before having to turnover the ball as they attempted a 4th down but were unable to convert the down.
Hutch Tech threw another pass but would get it picked off and run back for a TD by the Legends, 34-0.
The Engineers would line up for a punt when they had the ball next. They lined up as if they would punt but the kicker ran the ball toward the line before being taken down. The drive for Lancaster ended with a turnover on downs. Hutch Tech would be once again unable to move the ball and lined up to punt. This time the Engineers threw a pass to get the 1st down. The WR caught the ball but was unable to earn a 1st down.
Lancaster got the ball back and scored their final touchdown to bring the score to 40-0.

Jamestown
Jamestown went 6-2 on the season with wins over Baldwinsville, Niagara Falls, Williamsville East, Frontier, Hutch Tech, and Orchard Park.
The Red Raiders played the Niagara Falls Wolverines in Jamestown at Strider Field in the 1st week of the playoffs, Watch the game below:

There is only one other game this week in Class AA. Orchard Park will travel to All-High Stadium to meet the Bennett Tigers. They played in week 3 which was also played in Buffalo. Bennett would be able to earn the win that night by a score of 40-0.
