Lockport kicked off to the Lengeds to begin the 9th game of the season for the Legends, drive start at the Lancaster 22 yard line. The home team did not waste anytime and were able to get down the field for a touchdown, 6-0.

The next 2 possessions ended in punts until Lockport got the ball back deep in their own end. They attempted a pass that was tipped and was picked off by the Legends. A few plays later, a run up the middle would get the ball over the goal line and a 13-0 lead.
The teams would again punt the ball until Lancaster started the ball inside the Lockport 40 yard line. A long pitch and catch ended in a touchdown, Legends up 20-0.

Lockport received the kickoff after the score and were forced to punt. The kicker had trouble with the ball and the Legends tackled him and started with the ball deep in the Lions end. They were able to once again get over into the endzone, Legends up 27-0.
Lancaster would get the ball again near midfield later in the half and would again move the ball. A pass to the flats would get six points on the board, 34-0.

Right before the end of the half, the Lions moved to the Lancaster 8 yard line and took a shot to the endzone. The pass would hit the ground and the teams would head to the locker rooms for halftime.
The Lions received the kickoff to start the 2nd half and they were able to bring the ball to the Legends 47. The moved to the 26 but had to turn the ball over on downs on a 4 and 14.
Lancaster took the ball down the field and scored again, 40-0 on a run up the middle.
Late in the 4th Quarter, Lockport scored and picked up 2 points, bringing the score 40-8.
Lancaster vs Orchard Park
The Depew Wildcats are unquestionably the rival of the Lancaster Lengends. They have played 20 times since 2004, including this year. The excitment between the two communities is unmatched and the game is the culmination of a fun week.
If there were ever another rival on the Lancaster schedule, it could arguably be the Orchard Park Quakers. Since that same year of 2004, Lancaster and Orchard Park have played 24 times including 4 Section Championships and this weeks semi-final game to reach that championship game. They both have 12 wins within those 24 games with Friday Nights game going to break the tie. Even in the 2020 Covid year, the teams played when Lancaster/Depew was skipped.
Between 2005-2015, OP won 11 games, only dropping the 2009 game. Lancaster won 10 games between 2016 to Week 3 of this year only dropping the Week 6 game in 2019. The young men on Friday Night will write the next segment of the story between the Legends and the Quakers.
The Quakers played the Hutch Tech Engineers in the 1st Round of the playoffs winning 33-6. Watch the game below:
Orchard Park vs Hutch Tech
Class AA
There are only four teams left in Class AA playing this week. Bennett will be welcoming Jamestown once again on Friday Night. In September, Jamestown took Bennett to the wire as they were down but came back to pull within by 4 points, having lost 23-27. Last week Jamestown played Niagara Falls, watch the game below:
