Lancaster vs Hutch Tech

The Legends will be home at Foyle-Kling Field after being on the road the last 2 weeks when they welcome the Hutch Tech Engineers.

Last Time Out

The Legends would kickoff to the Quakers to start this game and OP would not wait for everyone to get seated as they brought the ball back for a TD, 2 point conversion good, 8-0.

Lancaster would get the ball at their own 42 and proceeded to move the ball down the field with the pass and run.

On a 1st and Goal from the 7 yard line, the offense line made a hole and the Lancaster LB ran through it to the endzone, OP up 8-6 after the PAT went off the left upright.

The next OP drive would end in a punt and Lancaster starting the next drive at their 23. This time with the ball would end much like the first possession but through air. The QB would throw a pass to the sidelines and the ball carrier crossed the goal line, Legends up 13-8.

The Quakers had a drive start at their 20 and were able to connect on a nice pitch and catch that ended in 6 points. The would go for 2 points but were stopped, OP up 14-13 with 44 seconds left in the 1st Quarter.

The kickoff for OP was short and was caught by an up man, drive start at their own 38 yard line. They would

The offense would get the ball in the air to move down the field and on a short swing pass to the RB, 6 points for the visiting team, 19-14.

OP would pick up a first down on their next drive but an INT for the Legends defense took the ball back, 1st down at their 9 yard line.

Lancaster would be able to move the ball close to midfield when they threw the ball back to a WR who would throw the ball down the field. A WR was wide open, caught the ball and ran in the endzone, 25-14 Legends begin to pull away.

OP would be forced to punt the ball back to Lancaster who, just like their other drives, moved the ball.

A pass that was thrown back across the field to a wide open receiver, Legends up 31-14 after the 2 point conversion was stopped.

Lancaster started with the ball in the 2nd half but were forced to punt for the first time on the night.

The Legends defense forced a punt by OP and the offense would get things going once again and get down the field. On a 4th down and long, a pass connected with a Lancaster receiver in the endzone, Legends now up, 38-14.

Late in the 3rd, the Legends defense would get the ball back to their offense by stopping OP on 4th down.

The offense this time kept the ball on the ground and would get a 31 yard TD run, 45-14.

Orchard Park would get themselves a TD later in the game bringing the final score to 45-21.

Class AA

In Week 4 of the season in Class AA, Jamestown travels to Buffalo to face the Bennett Tigers. The Squads are 2-1 on the season with Jamestown having a loss to St. Joe's and Bennett having lost to St. John's Cadets from Washington D.C. area. Orchard Park and Lockport will be playing on Saturday afternoon in OP for a 2pm kickoff. Niagara Falls will be playing Niagara Wheatfield Thursday Night..
