Lancaster vs Bennett
Friday Night is a big night. Two of the most accomplished football programs in WNY are meeting at Foyle-Kling Field at 7pm. Bennett has been the Class AA Champion the last 3 years and have beat Lancaster in each of those games. The Legends have played in the last 8 Section Championships, having won 5 of them. Bennett won the State Championship in 2022, the runner up in 2021 and went to the Semifinal last year.
The winner of this game will have the inside track to 1st place going forward and going into the playoffs.

Last Time Out
The Lancaster Legends kicked off to Hutch Tech to begin the game. That first drive for the Engineers saw them get pushed back and forced to punt. Lancaster would start with the ball at the Hutch Tech 13 yard line. The Engineers defense was up to the task as they stopped the Legnds offense and turned the ball back over.

Hutch Tech would try to move the ball through the air but were unable to get anything going and punted again, Lancaster drive start at the visitors 34 yard line. 2 plays later, a deep ball to the south endzone was caught and crossed the goal line, 7-0 Legends.

Hutch Tech would earn a 1st down on the next possession but a passed ball on a snap moved the drive back. A pass was attempted to get the ball down field again but was picked off by the Lancaster defense and brought to the Engineer 3 yard line.
One play later the Home squad scored with a run up the middle and after the PAT, 14-0 Lancaster.

Early in the 2nd Quarter Hutch Tech had the ball and would attempt another pass that was picked off and run back to the Engineer 29 yard line.
A few plays later, a run crossed the goal line again, 21-0 Legends rolling.
Lancaster would get the ball back later in the quarter in the opposition 44 yard line. The squad would get the ball down to the 1 yard line and after a couple of tries, score on a run to the right, 28-0.

Hutch Tech would begin to move the ball after that score and get to the Lancaster 28. They attempted a pass that was picked off and brought back for 6 points, 35-0.
The 2nd half would see both teams get another touchdown bringing the score to 42-6.

Lancaster Football Iron Man Award
Iron Man Criteria: Weight room attendance, bench press, squat, 40-yard dash, shuttle time, mile time, GPA, and broad jump.

Bennett Tigers
Bennett traveled to the Washington DC area in Week 1 of the season and played the St. John's Cadets, Watch the game below:
In Week 4 this season Jamestown made the hike North to Buffalo to play Bennett. Jamestown would drive the length of the field and score, 7-0. Bennett would take the ball and move down the field on their first possession and score and a nice pitch and catch, 7-7. Watch the game below:

Hutch Tech will be traveling to Niagara Falls to meet the Wolverines. Jamestown will welcome Orchard Park to Strider Field. Lockport will be playing home against North Tonawanda.
