Friday night the Legends will be welcoming the Orchard Park Quakers for a Class AA match up. The last two times these schools have met has been for the right to be called Section VI Class AA Champions. Lancaster pulled out wins in both of these contests and will look to get the W again in this regular season game when they kickoff at 7pm.
Hutch Tech visited Foyle-Kling Field last week and played with the Legends by scoring first in this contest. That score would hold up until the ensuing kickoff. The special teams play for Lancaster would make all the blocks to get the ball to the endzone to tie it up and with the point after, 7-6 Legends. They would not stop until the final in this one would be 36-6, going 2-0 overall and 1-0 in Class AA.
This is a rematch of the Section VI Championship played at the same field last spring. OP traveled to Lancaster and would score first in this one on a short pass. The Legends would get the ball and move down the field but would throw a pick and OP would get the ball back. The defense would hold OP and would force them to punt which was short and set up the Lancaster Offense in OP's 36 yardline. A few plays later a hole would open up that led to the first Legends TD, game tied at 7.

The last regular season meeting between Lancaster-Orchard Park was also played at Foyle-Kling Field in Week 6 back in 2019.
On Senior Night the Legends would jump out early and take a commanding 20-7 lead going into halftime. Jason Mansell would throw for 2 TD's and Cody Phillips would run one in for the home team. Things on the statline would indicate the Legends just ran away with the win after that. They led in total yards 474 to OP's 231. Rushing would favor Lancaster also, 188-52. The game was decided on penalties and turnovers. Lancaster committed more of each and eventually relinquished the lead to the Quakers.
