The Lancaster Legends football team will be home this Friday night under the New lights at Foyle/Kling Field. The new lights replace the old light poles that had been damaged but lasted one last season this past spring. The last time the Legends played at Foyle/Kling Field was when OP came to town for the Section VI Championship just a few months ago.
Hutch Tech will travel to Lancaster to face the 1-0 Legends in an early Class AA matchup. Hutch Tech comes into the game 0-1 having lost last week to Starpoint 20-14.
One of the last time these two squads met was in 2016 in week 6 when Hutch Tech also traveled to Lancaster. The Legends would get a big win that night and would clinch the Class AA South title. These two same teams would meet again in the playoffs a few weeks later. Lancaster/Hutch Tech 2016 Week 6
