Saturday afternoon the Lancaster Legends will be traveling to Niagara Falls, NY to play the Wolverines for a 2pm Kickoff in Class AA matchup.
The Legends faced the Quakers of Orchard Park once again in a big early meeting with a team Lancaster has faced in the last two Section VI Class AA Championships.
Lancaster would turn OP into a 1 dimensional offense as the run game for the Quakers was only able to gain 5 yards for the entire night. The passing game for the visitors would be able pass for 183 yards but had 0 TD’s and 1 INT.
The running game for Lancaster was able to get things going early, often and all game long. The Legends ended the game with 250 yards on 52 carries and recorded 4 TD’s.
Lancaster would come into this game after having played and lost to the Bennett Tigers, the first loss in the regular season since the squad lost to OP in Week 6 in 2015.
The defense gave up over 300 yards to Bennett but would stop NF to just 18 yards total this night. Niagara Falls would get on the board first on a pick 6 but after that it was the Legends that ran away with the game.
