Thursday Night the Legends of Lancaster High School will be playing the Tigers of Bennett High School at All High Stadium. This will be the third meeting between the 2 schools with Lancaster having won those two meetings. Last year the two schools played in week 1 with Lancaster winning that game setting the tone for the rest of the year.
The Lancaster Legends welcomed the Clarence Red Devils to Foyle-Kling Field last Friday Night and were able to score early and hang on late, 31-22. Read about Lancaster/Clarence here. The ground game was in full effect as the Legends were able to chew up over 200 yards and RB Brandon Wingard would earn a Connolly Cup nod, read about Connolly Cup Week 4 Top Performers here.
The Bennett Tigers played the Williamsville North Spartans and would walk away with a 24-21 victory. W.N. would be up 21-15 and have the ball while attempting to run out the clock. A bad snap on 4th down would give the ball to the Tigers at mid-field and more importantly, it would give them a chance. Read about Bennett vs WN.
