Game 4
Week 4 of the 2017 Football Season will see the Legends travel north to Niagara Falls HS to take on the Wolverines. This will be the 14th match-up between the two schools with Lancaster holding a 9-4 series advantage.
The very first meeting took place way back in 1921 on what was said to be a mud covered field with the boys from NF outweighing the team from Lancaster by 15lbs a man. Niagara Falls would prevail by a score of 27-0. They would play again in 1922 but take a short break before two more meetings in 1975 and 76. Since 1999, these schools have played 9 more times. One game in 2009 was in the first round of the playoffs.

This will be the first meeting between these two schools since 2013. In that game Lancaster scored 2 TD's, one by Matt Szymanski and another by Mitch Fuller. They each had 12 carries in the game with Matt gaining 61 yards and Mitch 67. Senior Alex Juhasz was 1 for 2 on FG's and 2-2 on PAT's to bring the score to 17-0.
Szymanksi also had 13 total tackles in the game to go along with his rushing yards. James Empfield was 2nd in tackles with 9, followed by Tom Heist, 8. Sophomore Alex Damiani had 1 tackle for the squad from Lancaster.
