Last Time Out
The last time Lancaster was on a football field they were in Brockport, NY playing in the Far West Regional. They were matched up with the Section V winner the Aquinas Lil Irish. It was a cold, rainy night at Bob Boozer Field. The Legends batteled right to the end but came up short.
That is the past and the 2025 Lancaster Legends are gearing up for another run at the NYS State Championship.
Friday Night it kicks off.
Lancaster vs McKinley
The Lancaster Legends will be on the road this Friday night to start out the 2025 seasonwhen they travel to Buffalo to take on the Macks of McKinley High School. This is only the 2nd time these two schools have met. 94 years between games might seem like alot because it is alot.
The Macks went 7-4 in 2024 and played the Sweet Home Panthers in the Section VI Championship game in Class A. Sweet Home was the better team that night as they went on to win 34-0. It was not the first time McKinley was in Orchard Park, in 2019 they met fellow Buffalo School South Park but fell to the Sparks.

Summer Camp 2025
The Lancaster Legends held their annual Summer Camp this past July. Kids of all ages ran all over the fields at Lancaster High School and heard from many speakers each day. Take a look:

McKinley Macks
McKinley High School is in Buffalo, NY and part of the Buffalo Public School System.
The road to the Section Championship last season saw the Macks play the Williamsville East Flames and the Kenmore West Blue Devils. The games were both played at home for McKinley. Check out the game below:

Class AA
Section VI Class AA has no changes to the teams from last season. Bennett, Hutch Tech, Lockport, Jamestown, Orchard Park, and Niagara Falls will join Lancaster in the areas biggest Class.

Dates and times are set for the Semifinals and Championship. The West Semifinals will be at Cicero-North Syracuse HS on November 29th, 2025. The East Semifinals will be at Middletown HS also at November 29th, 2025, both games are scheduled for a 6pm kickoff. The Championship game will be at JMA Dome in Syracuse set for December 6th at 5pm for Class AA.
