Lancaster Legends vs Clarence Red Devils
The Legends traveled to Williamsville North HS to take on the Spartans. Lancaster would jump out early in this one with 2 safeties that put them up 4-0 early in the 1st quarter. The Lancaster offense would also get in on the act and pile up points in this one with a 51-3 victory. The 51 points scored is tied for 7th most points scored in a game for the Legends.
That was the number of inches of snow that fell Wednesday in the WNY area. Grounds crew from Lancaster began to shovel the snow in the afternoon and were joined by the team to clear the field. Check out some pics from Wednesday!
Lancaster welcomes the team from Clarence High School to 1 Forton Drive for a Class AA match. The Red Devils are 2-1 on the season and are looking to climb the standings this week. They are in a 3 way tie with Frontier and Bennett for the 3rd and 4th spots.
Lancaster is tied with OP for first place in Class AA and will be looking to keep their spot going into week 5. Orchard Park will be meeting Williamsville North this week in their game.
These two squads last met at Clarence HS in the playoffs in 2019. It was a first round game of the section playoffs and Lancaster scored first and were able to hang on for the victory and continue on in the playoffs! More on that game here.
It is Senior Night tonight and all the Seniors will be honored before the game!
